TrainingPeople.Biz

TrainingPeople.biz is a joint venture involving two established two professional training organisations - McCormack Associates (Belfast) and New Ways of Working (Monaghan). The organisation is led by experienced training professionals, Joe McCormack and Riona Carroll.

Joe McCormack
   Joe McCormack accumulated an abundance of knowledge and understanding of the technology of communications and ICT during 31 years with British Telecom. Recognising the increasing gap between the capabilities of the available technology and people's understanding of it and their willingness to embrace its potential, Joe set up his own business to help bridge this gap in 1996.

Since then, Joe has helped many businesses and organisations to maximise performance through the use of widely available and rapidly developing technological and business tools.

Joe is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting and is the organisation's Regional Executive in Northern Ireland. Joe is a founder Director of Townsend Enterprise Park in Belfast, which was established in 1985.

Riona Carroll
  

 

Riona Carroll - a Graduate of Trinity College Dublin and Graduate Member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, Riona has extensive experience in a number of key business sectors. These include Tourism, Electronics, Agri-business, Retailing and International Trade Finance.

She has lectured at Third Level for Dublin Institute of Technology and the Electronic Business School of Ireland, as well as running training courses for a number of Development Agencies, including Leader Groups and Community Development organisations throughout Ireland.

Riona has contributed towards the development of a range of courses for on-line delivery. Clients include FÁS Net College, Global Trade International (GTI) Ireland and the Electronic Business School of Ireland (EBSI). She is currently on-line tutor to FÁS Net College and the Electronic Business School of Ireland.

Riona is a member of the Institute of Business Advisers and the Mentor panels of Telework Ireland and Enterprise Ireland.
